Appointment of Deborah Whale to SCEF Board of Trustees

A seasoned ambassador of Ontario’s agriculture, poultry, and clean energy sectors, Deborah Whale is lending her expertise to the SCEF Board of Trustees.

Ms. Whale joins the board with an impressive CV, including service on the boards of directors of the Ontario Power Authority and Independent Electricity System Operator.

Her clean energy expertise extends to the installation of biodigesters (which produce renewable biogas energy from organic material, like manure) and solar net metering systems for farm and residential use. Her family enterprise, Clovermead Farms, received a sustainability award from Dairy Farmers of Canada in 2014.

“I’m a long-standing proponent of environmental stewardship across Ontario’s business sectors,” said Ms. Whale.

“Corporations must be accountable for their use of natural resources, and now, more than ever, they must take action to minimize the footprint they leave on the environment. I see Skyline Clean Energy Fund as an opportunity for the everyday investor to help propel the growth of clean energy production across the province.”
