Vice President, Skyline Energy

Matt leads acquisitions, asset management, and business operations for the Skyline Clean Energy Fund portfolio. He provides oversight of transaction execution, due diligence and underwriting, portfolio optimization, and third-party operations and maintenance. Leading Skyline’s relationships with developers, operators, and capital partners, he helps advance the growth and optimization of the company’s renewable infrastructure investments across Canada.

Matt plays a key role in determining Skyline’s strategic direction, governance framework, and long-term growth. With a disciplined, performance-driven perspective on renewable infrastructure acquisition, management, and optimization, he brings a deep understanding of how Skyline Clean Energy Fund can help accelerate Canada’s energy transition. He applies a strong operational focus to build a portfolio designed to help meet increasing energy demand while providing long-term, stable investment performance.

Matt joined Skyline in 2017 as part of the real estate acquisitions team, where he worked across apartment, commercial, and retail property transactions before transitioning to the company’s renewable infrastructure investment division in 2019 as it launched Skyline Clean Energy Fund.

Prior to Skyline, Matt played professional hockey, drafted by the Carolina Hurricanes in 2010 after serving as captain of the Guelph Storm of the OHL. Outside of work, he remains involved in the local hockey community, supporting the Guelph Minor Hockey Association and Guelph Storm.
