Tyler Balding

Tyler is responsible for securing new accretive opportunities for Skyline Clean Energy Fund.

His focus includes originating and obtaining new renewable energy assets, and developing and maintaining long-standing relationships with industry vendors, lenders, and business partners.

Tyler joined Skyline Energy with 14 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, specializing in solar and battery technologies. His previous positions include GM, Energy Storage at Panasonic Eco Solutions Canada, where he secured tender with the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) and Toronto Hydro to execute one of the largest eBus deployments in North America.

Previously, Tyler was Director of Project Business Development, Canada at Canadian Solar Inc., where he led a team to the successful bid for the Kingston Solar 140 MW/DC solar project.

Tyler holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
